She brings more than 15 years of dispatch experience to her role and thrives in the fast-paced environment of coordinating deliveries, managing freight costs, and supporting efficient plant operations. How did you find your way to your current role?
I’ve worked in dispatch roles for over 15 years and genuinely enjoy the fast-paced, ever-changing nature of the job. I was already familiar with NWPX Park from my time at another precast company, so when I saw an opening, I jumped at the opportunity.
I started with Park as a Dispatcher in February 2023 and was promoted to Dispatch Supervisor by December 2023. In addition to dispatching, I was asked by our plant manager to assist with Inventory Specialist responsibilities, which I was happy to take on.
Looking back at when you first applied – what made you want to join NWPX Park?
I knew Park was growing, and I wanted to be part of a company where I could grow alongside the business.
After three years, what makes you want to stay at NWPX?
The positive work environment, my team, and the strong work-life balance are what keep me here.

How would you summarize what you do (in a nutshell)?
I coordinate deliveries with customers and the sales team while managing our freight budget.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
My typical workday involves optimizing load assignments, overseeing yard operations, and maintaining constant communication with my team. I also collaborate with my counterparts in Houston and Ferris to coordinate plant-to-plant transfers and ensure efficient operations.
What do you look forward to each day at work?
I look forward to seeing my team. They’re a great group to work with and bring a lot of energy and fun to the day.
What do you find most rewarding or exciting about your job?
The supportive, family-like culture is incredibly rewarding. I also take pride in thriving in a fast-paced environment and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Describe a favorite project you’ve worked on so far.
One of my favorite projects so far has been revamping the dispatch board. With the assistance of our Group Sales Manager, Nicole White, we worked on improving its functionality and usability, and the updated version is now being used across all three NWPX Park plants. It was especially rewarding to see the impact of the changes in real operations, helping streamline coordination and improving efficiency across multiple locations.

Which of the NWPX Infrastructure ACT Values (Accountability, Commitment, Teamwork) resonates most for you and why?
Teamwork resonates with me the most. When everyone collaborates to ensure products are delivered on time and production stays on track, it creates a smooth and successful operation.
What stands out to you about the culture at NWPX?
The open communication and commitment to employee growth stand out the most.
What would your advice be for someone starting a career in your field?
My advice for someone starting a career in my field would be to focus on continuous growth, take ownership of your development, and build strong, genuine relationships with coworkers and customers.
Is there someone at NWPX who has inspired or motivated you along your career journey?
My team has been a big source of motivation, especially our Plant Manager, JC Castilla; Production Supervisor, Benny Cazares; and Quality Control Technician and Inventory Control Specialist, Larry Beach. They consistently push me to be better.

Name one thing that always brightens your day outside of work.
My family and my dogs. I have a Frenchie and a Pug, and they’re both big personalities in small bodies.
What do you like to do for fun outside of work? And how does working at NWPX help you maintain work-life balance so you have time to do the things you enjoy?
I enjoy spending time with my family and relaxing with my Kindle. Working at NWPX allows me to get home at a reasonable time each day, which makes it easier to unwind and enjoy those moments.
