Growth through Leadership

At NWPX, investment in employee development is not just an investment in individual employees, it is an investment in the Company’s long-term success and competitiveness. In addition to the Company’s continued focus on general skill development of its employees, the Company has sharpened its focus on the development of its leadership pipeline with the creation of the ACTivate program.

ACTivate included three new initiatives in 2023: a broad leadership development program held in-person at locations across the Company, a small-group program focused on pairing a handful of promising employees with members of the senior executive team for one-on-one career coaching and mentoring, and identifying individual career and growth development opportunities for key employees.

Community Impact Program

As part of our commitment to supporting communities where we operate, NWPX is proud to announce the launch of our Community Impact Program. This program addresses critical social and environmental challenges through targeted initiatives and partnerships. We believe that thriving communities are essential to a thriving business. By aligning our resources and expertise with community priorities, we can drive shared value for all stakeholders while advancing our CSR objectives.

Each plant has the opportunity to support local organizations for:

  • Education and Youth Development: Supporting local schools and promoting literacy and access to learning resources, as well as extracurricular activities like sports and arts. 
  • Workforce Development: Supporting education, training, and career advancement opportunities to prepare individuals for success in manufacturing and beyond. 
  • Environmental Sustainability: Promoting conservation, eco-friendly practices, and community-based environmental projects to support a healthier planet. 
  • Community Well-Being: Partnering with local organizations to address pressing community needs, from food security and healthcare access to disaster relief.
